ABOUT EaCASS 2020
Daycare or Ambulatory surgery is an exquisite surgical services that enable patients who undergo surgery, to immediately returns to normal daily living activities on the same day of operation.
This visionary approach however require substantial inter-department collaboration effort between Anaesthesiology, Surgery and Internal Medicine to optimize patient condition which proven to be beneficial.
Minimally invasive surgery, preoperative assessment, pain management and post-operative nausea & vomiting management are examples of revolving medical knowledge which follow latest technology & science update.
In parallel with Malaysia Ministry of Health's mission to strengthen ambulatory surgery services as quoted by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Bin Ahmad on June 2018,
this symposium initiated to provide latest update and knowledge on Ambulatory surgery for healthcare providers in Malaysia, to progress towards improvisation and better future.
